It starts with written post orders
Before the first shift we sit down with your management team and write post orders for your property. They list your problem areas, your hot hours, your secure doors, who to call and in what order, your tow company and your amenity closing times. Every guard on your site works from the same page. When something changes, we update the post orders and every guard follows the new version.
What a shift looks like
- Patrol the property on foot and stay visible. Guards don't park in one spot.
- Check entry points, gates, garages, mail areas, amenities and vacant units on every round.
- Make contact with anyone who has no reason to be there and ask them to leave. Call police when they won't.
- Photograph what they find and log it with times and locations.
- Lock up the pool, clubhouse or community room at the hour you set.
Armed or unarmed
Most properties need unarmed guards. Some need armed coverage, like events with a door to hold or sites with a history of weapons. We put armed guards on a site only under a separate written agreement.
Licensed, screened and insured
Every guard holds a Washington private security guard license under Chapter 18.170 RCW and passes a background check and drug screen before assignment. We carry general liability, auto and workers' comp coverage, name you as additional insured and send the certificate before the first shift. If a guard isn't the right fit for your site, tell us and we reassign.

Questions about standing guard
Can you cover overnight only?
Yes. Overnight posts like 9 PM to 5 AM are common, especially for garages and lobbies.
How do I know the guard actually did the rounds?
Your report shows the times, locations and photos from each round. If something looks off, call us and we pull the details.
Do you cover Tacoma?
Yes. We post guards in Seattle, Tacoma and anywhere within 50 miles of Seattle.
